She loves to help you explore your options so you are able to make safe and educated decisions that you feel comfortable with. Adara wants you to feel supported in all aspects of your birth and goes the extra mile to help you research using Evidence Based information.
Adara is passionate about helping you advocate for safe maternal care, and has a particular interest in providing access to high quality and culturally humble care for Black families. Her positive attitude and ability to work together with the medical staff in a hospital setting helps create a calm birthing space.
Adara teaches the monthly Golden Gate Doulas Latch Clinic to help your breast feeding journey get off to a good start.
