Postpartum Doula, New Parent Educator,
GGDA Doula Coordinator
Erica prides herself on focusing on the whole family in addition to helping new parents navigate how to care for their newborn. She has a calm and caring approach to supporting families. Her years of experience as a nanny, before she became a doula, has helped her coach many parents as they adjust into their new roles.
Erica likes to focus on finding ways to establish healthy feeding and sleeping habits for your newborn. She understands that each family is different and wants to help individualize your approach in a way that best suits your family. She also loves to pamper the new parents by fixing healthy snacks and caring for you while you recover from your birth. She has additional training in how to support the recovery after a cesarean birth and other postpartum complications.
Erica is a survivor of Hurricane Katrina and feels It changed the trajectory of her life. She devoted much of her time to helping others across the globe who'd lost their homes. She has served doing important missionary work, visiting Haiti and Greece, helping refugees who also had been hit by natural disasters. In her free time, Erica enjoys reading, traveling, spending time growing spiritually, advocating for BLM, and playing with her fur baby.
